AUTO is a software package for continuation and bifurcation problems in ODEs. The package includes HomCont, algorithms for the bifurcation analysis of homoclinic orbits.

Downloads	AUTO97 (FORTRAN) may be downloaded here. Did not try, but I think CYGWIN would be useful here too for compiling under WIN32. – FORTRAN 77 compiler is included in the distribution of CYGWIN. Beta release of new FORTRAN version AUTO07 may be downloaded here (current beta) AUTO2000 may be downloaded here ( current version) or from the original site . There is also user guide. AUTO is designed for NIX. Nevertheless, command line version may be compiled under WINDOWS with the use of compilers from CYGWIN* distro (for more details about CYGWIN). I've compiled AUTO2000 and examined it's capabilities on several demos included in the distribution. I've tried also PYTHON scripts (interpreter is included in CYGWIN), they are mostly working, but I failed to start graphics.
