Besides the possibilities provided by the author via interface, there is still a whole toolbox of tricks realizable via the format of files with which the dynamical system is set. On the XPP site one may find detailed tutorial and other documentation which is also delivered with the program distro. Generally, XPP is easy enough to be skilled at. By the way, it has contextual help.

However, for all that, I could not promote far enough my test problem (coupled Rossler systems). I did not succeeded in continuation of period doubling bifurcation point. May be I was doing something in a wrong way. I was working with the version I've downloaded in march 2005. In 2006 there was a new release which i have not tryed yet.
